Learning Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based course pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Describe the mechanism of action of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) inhibitors.
  2. Review the toxicities of VEGF inhibitors.
  3. Discuss the management and supportive care strategies for VEGF inhibitor-related toxicities.
  4. Describe effective management of VEGF inhibitor-related toxicities in a patient.
