Pharmacy Fellowship Program
Loma Linda University Diabetes Management Fellowship is a unique interdisciplinary opportunity to gain experience in multiple areas of diabetes management. This fellowship is a collaboration with the Department of Endocrinology and designed to foster the development of a pharmacist interested in a career focused on diabetes. Through the affiliation with the Department of Endocrinology the fellow will have exposure to both inpatient and outpatient care. At the Diabetes Treatment Center, the fellow will participate in the administration of industry-sponsored clinical research trials and gain the knowledge and skills to be an effective member of future research teams. The fellow will also have the opportunity to become a certified insulin pump trainer while assisting with insulin pump trainings. Loma Linda University is dedicated to the training of competent, clinical pharmacists in specialized areas.
Pharmacy Fellowship Program
To be determined. Opportunities can be facilitated anywhere that diabetes management is conducted within the health system.
Residents enrolled into the program will be given the option to be included in the Teaching Certificate Program. The goal of the program is to provide participants the experience and guidance necessary to understand and apply current educational issues in pharmacy education.
