Several students are taking advantage of research opportunities with LLUSP's Summer Research Program. They have paired up with faculty to study an array of topics including CRLF2 expression in tumor biology, antimicrobial resistance, and iron therapy for patients with heart failure. Two of the students won research fellowship awards and are paid this summer for their work. Other students are conducting the research as volunteers, understanding the value of the experience.
