The multidisciplinary team comprised of 16 people included seven LLU pharmacy students (Kryzia Adlaon, Beven Delos Reyes, Loublayne Diang, Kevin Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Aya Miyjima, and Jeanine Soriano), two LLUH pharmacists (Dr. Noreen Chan Tompkins and Dr. Lola Jegede), and several LLU nursing, medicine, and social work students. Nearly 530 adult and pediatric patients were served across three medical mission clinics which took place in Gainza, Camarines Sur and Calauag, Naga City.
In addition to the clinics, the team participated in the worship and Sabbath afternoon services at Naga View Adventist College, providing mission spotlight, special music, and presentations on healthcare careers and mental health. Dr. Chan Tompkins also presented the keynote address at the Manila Adventist College White Coat Ceremony for pharmacy and medical laboratory science students on June 19th.
Praise God, the LLU team had a wonderful time serving, worshiping, making friends, and making memories.
