Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy and San Bernardino Valley College Establish Transformative PharmTech-to-PharmD Pathway
Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy (LLUSP) and San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC), part of the San Bernardino Community College District, have formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) designed to create a structured educational pipeline from pharmacy technician training to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
This collaboration reflects a shared institutional commitment to expanding access to pharmacy education and strengthening the healthcare workforce within the Inland Empire. By aligning SBVC’s Associate of Science degree in Pharmacy Technology with LLUSP’s PharmD prerequisite requirements, the pathway provides a clear, attainable trajectory for students seeking to advance their careers in pharmacy.
