LLUSP faculty and staff have returned from the annual American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) meeting, hosted this year in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the four days there, our faculty and staff members presented research and best practices in pharmacy education during poster presentations and speaking engagements.
Meanwhile, Ms. Chelsea Hofmann, director of recruitment, represented LLUSP's student services team and presented the principles of LLUSP's admissions process during a poster session. Of course, attending conferences always provides an opportunity for bonding and camaraderie between LLUSP pharmily members, too!
Unfortunately, many faculty from pharmacy schools across the nation were prevented from attending the meeting due to a recent software outage, which affected most airlines. LLUSP faculty who were able to travel to the meeting "represented" at the empty posterboards of those whose flights were canceled.
We are incredibly proud of our team's dedication to learning from and sharing insights with other pharmacy educators, all for the sake of providing the best possible outcomes for students!
