LLUSP students and faculty enjoyed participating in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Annual Meeting in Phoenix. Dr. Lisa Hong was particularly busy, receiving the "Outstanding Paper of the Year" award and presenting with co-authors two posters on eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate). She and Dr. Tomona Iso also presented a poster of their research of medication therapy issues for patients with decreased kidney function. See more photos from the meeting on our Instagram.
Third-year students Ariadna Cervantes, Tim Streck, and Rita Elhamra attended several sessions, including the Residency, Fellowship, and Graduate Program Poster Showcase, where they networked with pharmacists and learned about various residency programs. They also attended a session on how to become a standout residency candidate.
