Learning Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based course pharmacists should be able to: 

  1. Discuss the epidemiology and etiology of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) 
  2. Review the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and differential diagnosis of ITP 
  3. Recognize appropriate treatment timelines and goals for ITP 
  4. Identify the efficacy and safety of first- and second-line therapy options for ITP 
  5. Evaluate recent literature on novel therapies for ITP

To obtain 1.0 contact hour of continuing pharmacy education credit (0.1 CEU), participants must participate in the live activities, and logon to the CEimpact website to complete the exam and evaluation.
