Loma Linda University Post-Graduate Year 1 Pharmacy Residents

Amanda Golay, PharmD

Dr. Amanda Golay grew up in Highland, California. She attended University of California, Santa Barbara where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and completed her Doctorate of Pharmacy at Loma Linda University. Her current professional interest lies within pharmacy administration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, traveling, watching movies and eating candy.

Leilani Isozaki, PharmD

Dr. Leilani Isozaki is currently a PGY1 pharmacy resident at Loma Linda University.  She has the privilege of working in collaboration with healthcare professionals at the Loma Linda University Medical Center while teaching as an instructor at the Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.  Dr. Isozaki was born and raised in Torrance, California.  She attended the University of California, Irvine where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and subsequently attended The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Arts in Pharmacy Studies.  Her current clinical interests are in the fields of emergency medicine, critical care, and ambulatory care.  Dr. Isozaki also enjoys staying involved in professional organizations and contributing to the advancement of patient care.  Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Isozaki values spending time with family and friends, participating in sports, swimming, biking, traveling, and exploring nature. 

Jade Lee, PharmD

Dr. Jade Lee grew up in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Her current clinical interests include oncology, internal medicine, and psychiatry. Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Lee hopes to practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist at an academic medical center. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.

Jane Lim, PharmD

Dr. Jane Lim grew up in Corona, California. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside and her Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Diego. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and ambulatory care. In her spare time, she enjoys eating, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Ying Long, PharmD

Dr. Ying Long is originally from China. She attended University of Washington, Seattle where she obtained a dual-degree in Biochemistry and Medical Anthropology. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy in May 2016. Dr. Long’s professional interests include academia, clinical research, hematology/oncology, and transplant. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in hematology/oncology. Ultimately, she would like to obtain a faculty position at a School of Pharmacy that will allow her to practice pharmacy as well as educate the next generation of pharmacists. In her spare time, she enjoys intense workout sessions and golf. She is always excited to explore different parts of world. 

Tamara Ly, PharmD

Dr. Tamara Ly was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Her professional interests include cardiology, transitions of care, ambulatory care, and academia. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, eating good food, playing with her dog, and going to Disneyland.

Bert Matsuo, PharmD 

Dr. Bert Matsuo was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and Doctorate of Pharmacy from The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.  His current clinical interests include Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and Infectious Diseases. He hopes to obtain a PGY2 or Fellowship in one of these areas and eventually become an instructor at an academic hospital.  Outside of pharmacy, Bert enjoys cooking, playing tennis, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Deepika Mohan, PharmD

Dr. Deepika Mohan grew up in Palmdale, California. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then attended the University of California, San Diego where she completed her Pharm. D.  Her clinical interests include infectious diseases, critical care, and emergency medicine.  In her spare time, Dr. Mohan enjoys reading, eating good food, hiking and spending time with friends and family. 

Maryam Molki, PharmD

Dr. Maryam Molki is a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She received her PharmD degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in 2016. Dr. Molki finds serving patients with chronic disease states extremely rewarding and enjoys combining her love of teaching and direct patient care by providing patient education counseling on effective medication therapy and lifestyle management. She plans to pursue a PGY2 specialization in Cardiology, which is also her area of research interest. Dr. Molki is a Fulbright recipient and also holds an MFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She enjoys nature, traveling, and exploring different cultures’ arts and cuisine. 

Kiwon Park, PharmD

Dr. Kiwon Park is originally from Millcreek, Washington. She received her Pharm.D. from Loma Linda University. Her clinical interests include Hematology/Oncology, Transitions of Care, and Transplant. She enjoys spending time going on food adventures, traveling, and cheering for her favorite sports teams especially her Seattle Seahawks!

Jennifer Vu, PharmD

Dr. Jennifer Vu was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. After high school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego. She then continued her education at Western University of Health Sciences where she attained her Doctorate of Pharmacy. Her passion lies within the outpatient setting and administration. Outside of pharmacy, she likes spending quality time with loved ones, exploring new experiences, sleeping, and staying active (especially water sports). 

 

Loma Linda University Post-Graduate Year 2 Cardiology Pharmacy Resident

Dimpa Choksi, PharmD

Dr. Dimpa Choksi is originally from Dallas, Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin and her Pharm.D. at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She subsequently completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Choksi aspires to achieve added qualifications in cardiology, become a preceptor, and work as a clinical pharmacist and pursue a career in academia upon completion of her cardiology PGY2 residency. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and rooting for the Texas Longhorns (Hook ‘Em!).

Scott Fitter, PharmD

Dr. Scott Fitter grew up in Corona, California, and attended the University of California Riverside where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy to earn his PharmD. and complete his PGY-1 training. Scott’s passion for Critical Care developed over the course of his academic career, leading to his decision to pursue a PGY-2.  Scott’s professional interests include emergency medicine, toxicology, and neurocritical care. In his free time, Scott enjoys attending baseball games, hiking, and grilling.

Ariani Waworuntu, PharmD

Dr. Ariani Waworuntu grew up in the Loma Linda area and it is where she considers her hometown.  She received her Bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University and her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.  She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Loma Linda and is staying on to complete her PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, playing flag football, and traveling.

Suluck Chaturabul, PharmD

Dr. Suluck Chaturabul grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, Berkeley double majoring in Psychology and Social Welfare. She completed her PharmD at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Last June she started her PGY1 residency at the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Care Program and is currently a PGY2 resident in Pharmacy Informatics at Loma Linda University. Her interests include Ambulatory Care and helping to improve maintenance and efficiency of electronic medical record systems through pharmacy informatics. In her free time, Dr. Chaturabul enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as taking care of her many pets she has at home. She also loves to explore new and exciting foods along with traveling as much as she can which includes recent trips to Belize and Thailand.

Anthony Lee, PharmD

Dr. Anthony Lee is originally from Loma Linda, California.  He received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California and his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.  He completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego and is currently completing a PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency in Loma Linda.  His clinical interests include pediatrics, critical care, and teaching.  Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, raquetball, cooking, and playing with his dog.

Genevieve Noronha, PharmD

Dr. Genevieve Noronha is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University in Boston. After completing her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency in the combined Hallmark Health Systems Inc./MCPHS University program Genevieve went on to work for one year as a clinical pharmacist at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. This year she is very excited to complete her PGY2 residency program in Transitions of Care at LLUMC. Her clinical interests include transitions of care, cardiology, student development and academia. In her spare time Dr. Noronha loves traveling, trying new foods, and enjoying the company of family and friends.

 

Loma Linda University Infectious Disease Pharmacy Fellow (Year 2)

James Truong, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. James Truong grew up in Albany, New York, where he also completed his pharmacy education at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  James went onto New York Methodist Hospital for his PGY-1 training and then moved to California for the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Fellowship at Loma Linda University.  Going into his second year of the fellowship, he is excited to further expand upon his clinical knowledge of infectious diseases as well as continue his passion for research.  Since James has lived on the East Coast all his life, he is looking forward to exploring more outdoor activities while in Southern California.  During his free time, he also enjoys playing basketball as well as watching TV shows, movies, and sports.

Loma Linda University Pediatric Endocrinology Pharmacy Fellow 

Christopher Jacobson, PharmD

Dr. Jacobson grew up in Loma Linda, California, attended Walla Walla University and then graduated from Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.  He completed his Primary Care PGY-1 training at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.  His clinical interest is diabetes management with a focus on Type 1 diabetes in pediatrics. His career goal is to integrate pharmacy services into the clinical management of Type 1 diabetes.   In his free time he enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors.
